My great grandfather used to tell stories about how in the past Mayan descendent indigenous groups used to believe that Kinich Ahua Mayan sun of god look over you no matter
where you go. I am very proud of my indigenous roots, and try to incorporate it to my life. By looking at the sun is just a reminders that you should not be afraid of doing something, or
embark on a new path.
